Seth Adelsberger's Semi-Final Frontiers Opens @ Civilain Art Projects in DC

Odyssey of the Grind- This wall painting took 30 hours.
Seth Adelsberger's solo show, Semi-Final Frontiers opened at Civilian Art Projects, Friday February 13, along with Christopher Sims' Guantanamo Bay photo series in the project space. Presenting boldly colored, symmetrical paintings on canvas and on the wall, Adelsberger's new imagery falls somewhere between ancient totems and 90s video game graphics. A refreshing abandon of the DC style, Adelsberger's paintings are almost too-cool-for-the-color-school.
