Open Space Sculptyard War

The first annual Sculptyard War competition
July 4th
2pm
Open Space—2720 Sisson St, Baltimore, MD.

Sculptyard Wars is a recycled, re-used, and re-purposed materials competition organized by Eric Bos and presented by Open Space. Taking a hint from the TV show Junkyard Wars, several teams are coming together to create sculptures and installation based works entirely out of found objects. The teams have a set amount of time to find their materials and build their entry.

The reception will include a workshop on ironing plastic bags together by Baltimore Freeuse coordinator Barry Febos, and presentation of awards by judges Gary Kachadourian and Barry Febos.
