'City On Fire' is a collection of photographs taken in Baltimore by Andy Cook between 2005 and 2010. This special exhibit will be showcasing work from the two, well anticipated books that Andy will finally release on October 28th! IN THE AIR and SOUND OF FIRE focus heavily on the city's blossoming creative scenes, and set them against a backdrop of landscapes and every-day stories. They are odes to a singular city, brimming with possibility among the ruins and bursting with interesting people.

Scenes from Long Roads closes @ School 33

Scenes from Long Roads, the newest work by photographer extraordinaire Andy Cook, went out with a bang, Friday night with a closing reception and musical performances at School 33.
Andy's (stunning) photos have a somewhat lonesome feel, offering an outsider's perspective into a series of images from travels. Most had a feeling of separation from the subject, with the exception of this one:
which was my favorite.

Andy Cook, fabulous photographer and friend of Ten Tigers, unveils his new work in "Scenes From Long Roads" which opens at School 33 this Thursday, September 18 from 6 - 8 pm.

The exhibition will also have a closing event, which looks strikingly similar to the one I hoped to line up for my show, featuring AK Slaughter and The Art Department.....friend/band thief! That being said, please go support Andy's work and two phenomenal local bands October 17th.
