Photos from the Opening of the Wave Ramp @ North Ave. Market

The Wave Ramp opened for skating Tuesday night! It will be disassembled and carried over to the Artscape festivities today. Check it out on the Charles street bridge Midway during Artscape this weekend and, of course, bring your board!

Wave Ramp Opening at the North Avenue Market TONIGHT!

Jordan Bernier, holding up one of the side waves
Jordan Bernier and the rest of the Wave Ramp crew (Elie, Steve, Jake, Annie...anyone who has lent a hand) have been working hard to finish their Wave Ramp for the midway at Artscape. Tonight, it will be open to the public in its temporary location, the North Avenue Market next to the Windup Space. Come by and check out the indoor ramp action! If you skate, bring your board. 8pm!

Pants Ramp Re-Opens

The Pants Ramp re-opened to the public with some skating (duh), barbecue, bake sale and party in the park. We had an awesome turn out and an all-round good time. A second bake sale will be held today at 2pm on Andy Eklund's porch, next to the light rail on Mount Royal. Don't miss it!

Vegan baked goods. Mmmm.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the ramp!
