This all-medium exhibition features women-of-color artists whose work focuses on cultural histories, race, gender, or social-political areas of thought. The artists come from many different backgrounds and times. Some of the artists are recently out of college, while others have been creating for decades. A few of the participating artists will be coming to Park to meet with students during the exhibition.

Christine Sajecki and Megan Hildebrandt opened their two person show of individual and collaborative works at the Creative Alliance this past weekend. With two distinctly different styles, (Sajecki showed super-slick, encaustic paintings while Hildebrandt exhibited drawings, collages and costumes) the two artists managed to impressively tie their work together in their collaborative installation (and title) piece, The Rumors Are True.
