The Hart of London is an experimental film that has been enormously important to those that have had the opportunity to see it. It's a film that grapples with the complexities of life, birth, death, community, family, time and history and the transcendental beauty and wonder of it all.
Avis Lang writes " The Hart of London is one of Chamber's masterpieces; it is not a narrative unfolding at a suitable aesthetic distance but a metaphoric process that one undergoes, that even the artist finds himself undergoing in the presence of what he has made."
