Asterism, the first show at Gallery Four since its reopening, grouped locally renowned artists (Maggie Michael) with MICA's recent BFA students. Despite the range in career-longevity, the show was altogether sophisticated, and surprisingly unified. The theme, a semi-abstract "separate yet connected" astronomy term seemed to accurately capture the presence of the exhibition. Each artist displayed a cohesive selection of work, using vastly different media but with a similar feel.
