Zoë Charlton's New Work @ Conner Contemporary
Conner Contemporary presents an exhibition of Zoë Charlton's newest work, a series of large drawings called the Tallahassee Lassies. The work reflects personal stories about female relatives of the artist, as she has chosen to react to and represent them. The space is absolutely beautiful, high ceilings, awesome storefront, separate spaces for multiple solo shows, etc., but is in a slightly weird location 1358 Florida Ave, NE. Good luck finding it on foot from the metro, take a taxi, it is definitely worth the trip. Also on view at Conner are David Levinthal: War, Gabriel de la Mora : video. For additional information on Conner Contemporary and their current exhibitions, visit their website.
